I had the privilege of being commissioned to create a series of graphite bird pieces for display and auction during the book launch of "Yolk." These avian artworks serve as poignant visual representations of narratives surrounding the afterlife, as depicted in the book's compelling stories.

"Yolk" weaves together a collection of short narratives intricately intertwined with the avian subjects portrayed in the series. Collaborating closely with the author, Bernadette Somers, who happens to be my dear mother, we successfully marketed and sold these accompanying picture books.

This project holds special significance for me, blending personal and creative endeavors into a memorable collaboration that celebrates both art and literature.
